Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 rotate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship gone this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon all related parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all era I consent it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in reality calculation up. I m in two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason

I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started snappishly after I got it home.Any extra incite you can provide is appreciated. I don't know what else to accomplish but agree to it back to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman full of zip on it at the dealer, but I yet feel its pushed to the support as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.

I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle eagerness screw to humiliate the rpm and it would preserve for a while. Now, the engine is continually surging to the reduction where I cannot steer it for buzzer of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
