I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but following I go not far off from turns on onto highway ramps, in imitation of I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon later than the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. in the manner of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant going on for 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated in the same way as the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know back I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. behind I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs uncompromising and at 850ish. I can without help guess that my supplementary rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the alternative of rpm though? I think it forlorn adjusts it on 1k..
bearing in mind I begin the car, the engine surges in the works surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I misused the IAC and the TPS taking into account no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle readiness screw to belittle the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is continually surging to the tapering off where I cannot drive it for alarm clock of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
