The best quirk to locate a leak is to have the engine processing and hot and then spray lighter gas /propane or brake cleaner all but each joint in turn. If the engine rev s in the works you ve found your leak.
Its also worth getting the fuel pressure checked as if this is low due to a blocked filter or faulty regulator or even a ill pump will every outcome in insufficient fuel being delivered to the engine. Might plus be worth cleaning out the idle rapidity manage motor / valve as these acquire clogged in the works behind carbon and some brake cleaner washed through helps pardon things off.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. like the MAF is plugged in later the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is plus an intermittent popping sound coming at idle.
