I have a 2004 ES330 when a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but taking into consideration I go vis--vis turns upon onto highway ramps, subsequent to I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon following the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried suitably far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. taking into consideration I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant with reference to 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I resign yourself to the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know in the past I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a little more just about the trouble history. It currently has a master tech approved idle let breathe control valve and tps installed. without heartwarming anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would run in the car without this symptom.
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you up to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms in the works and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine do its stuff many factors may cause the thesame symptom(s)
