This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any expose dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and hence not compensated for and can lean the engine out and can afterward allow the engine to rev up subsequent to not desired causing rough running. As its a mechanical defect it tends not to twist on the malfunction light and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise subsequent to the engine running.
