I have a 2004 ES330 when a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but with I go in the region of turns on onto highway ramps, behind I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights aim on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried as a result far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. later I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant as regards 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model as a result it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I admit the TPS is integrated taking into account the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know before I border you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the air flow meter and said it was good. later I unplug it and control the motor, the car runs aggressive and at 850ish. I can solitary guess that my supplementary rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the alternative of rpm though? I think it on your own adjusts it approximately 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in the manner of the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is next an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
