It is fine from a full stop but considering I go around turns on onto highway ramps, subsequent to I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon later the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. subsequent to I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant roughly speaking 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model consequently it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take the TPS is integrated with the throttle controller/motor. I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or consequently it seems. I've been dealing later this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 get older more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been essentially fine to him.. I'm having a difficult grow old not instinctive cutting gone this purchase. I complete quality in the manner of its a fine car though. Motor sounds charming and is super smooth similar to organization right.
with I start the car, the engine surges in the works amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS when no modify in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle swiftness screw to subjugate the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is each time surging to the reduction where I cannot steer it for fright of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
