This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any freshen dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and hence not compensated for and can lean the engine out and can as well as permit the engine to rev happening taking into account not desired causing harsh running. As its a mechanical aberration it tends not to slant on the irregularity fresh and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise once the engine running.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started tersely after I got it home.Any supplementary back you can give is appreciated. have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you going on to date on all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms stirring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine perform many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
