I have a 2004 ES330 later than a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but as soon as I go roughly speaking turns upon onto highway ramps, bearing in mind I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon later the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. later I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant just about 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I put up with the TPS is integrated next the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you desire the mechanic to know before I border you? No, I guess that is it.
Might afterward be worth checking the wiring and connector to the airflow meter for any signs of corrosion or damage. you can get a fast irregularity find if you unplug the meter and govern the engine without it. if the engine condition is the same later chances are the meter or the attachment to it is faulty. Its afterward worth cleaning the MAF sensor wires, as they can acquire coated past dirt beyond time which later offsets the reading. Use some entre cleaner or brake cleaner to spray onto the wires to cut off the dirt on no account lie alongside the wires behind everything as they are entirely fragile
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. gone the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping unassailable coming at idle.
