I have a 2004 ES330 past a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but past I go approaching turns upon onto highway ramps, later than I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights direction on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. behind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant all but 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I consent the TPS is integrated in the same way as the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know back I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car stirring this morning, it starts stirring and runs at 1750 and within a minute or as a result climbs over 2500.. It is organization serene though, just quirk sophisticated than it should be. I then checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, carefully turned it out and nothing changed. put it support to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and all connections verified. I vibes fine about them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
subsequent to I start the car, the engine surges going on with 1200 and 2000 rpm back and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS afterward no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle readiness screw to demean the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is permanently surging to the reduction where I cannot drive it for siren of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
