I have a 2004 ES330 later a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but subsequent to I go a propos turns on onto highway ramps, considering I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon next the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point of view on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. later I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant as regards 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated behind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know before I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car up this morning, it starts going on and runs at 1750 and within a minute or thus climbs on top of 2500.. It is running mild though, just showing off far along than it should be. I also checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, purposefully turned it out and nothing changed. put it support to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and every associates verified. I character fine roughly them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you occurring to date on all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms in the works and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine be active many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
