I have a 2004 ES330 with a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but like I go approximately turns on onto highway ramps, in the same way as I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon once the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Checked for contacts in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant approximately 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I give a positive response the TPS is integrated taking into consideration the throttle controller/motor. I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or in view of that it seems. I've been dealing next this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 become old more.My father owns an sc400 and its been essentially good to him.. I'm having a difficult times not swine biting subsequently this purchase. I do environment bearing in mind its a good car though.
