I have a 2004 ES330 next a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but gone I go approaching turns upon onto highway ramps, with I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon next the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights direction on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. like I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant re 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model consequently it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I understand the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know back I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. subsequently I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs rough and at 850ish. I can without help guess that my further rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the different of rpm though? I think it single-handedly adjusts it around 1k..
