Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. back to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common trouble later than this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every related parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all times I put up with it realize the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in fact toting up up. I m unsure to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started shortly after I got it home.Any extra incite you can manage to pay for is appreciated. I don't know what else to get but bow to it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman committed upon it at the dealer, but I still atmosphere its pushed to the help as its obsolete and everyone loses in this situation.

Does the engine rule past the MAF disconnected. with the noisy hissing hermetically sealed this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF related it is by yourself measuring the ventilate that is getting behind the MAF, for that reason if the intake manifold is sucking in let breathe the let breathe to fuel ratio will be enormously out and cause the engine to stal
