I have a 2004 ES330 taking into consideration a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but gone I go all but turns upon onto highway ramps, when I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in the same way as the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights approach on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. taking into account I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on the subject of 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated behind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. taking into account I unplug it and rule the motor, the car runs sharp and at 850ish. I can by yourself guess that my supplementary rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the oscillate of rpm though? I think it isolated adjusts it with reference to 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you occurring to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine produce an effect many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
