I have a 2004 ES330 bearing in mind a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but past I go vis--vis turns on onto highway ramps, as soon as I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon gone the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. past I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant as regards 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I receive the TPS is integrated when the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know past I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. later than I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs rough and at 850ish. I can single-handedly guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the oscillate of rpm though? I think it unaccompanied adjusts it all but 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. as soon as the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is moreover an intermittent popping sound coming at idle.
