I have a 2004 ES330 once a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but in the same way as I go approximately turns upon onto highway ramps, gone I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I agree to the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Might as well as be worth checking the wiring and connector to the airflow meter for any signs of corrosion or damage. you can pull off a fast fault find if you unplug the meter and manage the engine without it. if the engine condition is the similar next chances are the meter or the link to it is faulty. Its along with worth cleaning the MAF sensor wires, as they can acquire coated later dirt more than epoch which subsequently offsets the reading. Use some retrieve cleaner or brake cleaner to vaporizer onto the wires to separate the dirt upon no account touch the wires once all as they are very fragile
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode hence I'd recommend to make sure the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly ashore as soon as carbon. and later get used to the TPS fittingly that the IDL fix is continuous to the E2 glue in the manner of the throttle is closed, and retrieve circuit like the throttle is just cracked. Don't cause problems about any voltages, the IDL way in is the truly important one.
